Review of Witness for the Prosecution (1957) by Karl — 03 Jul 2008
Charles Laughten & Else Lancaster are HILARIOUS in this. It's based on a stage play and it's one of those where you are told at the end 'the owners of this theater ask you do not ruin the surprise ending to this film.
' Still works today, some great one-liners. If you've ever wondered where line 'Lies, ALL LIES' comes from, this is it.
