Review of Witness for the Prosecution (1957) by Matt W — 29 Jan 2009
Can the old school get more awesome and cunning I mean Who wouldn't want to follow around a "Winston Churchill" type character in adventure of dry english butt kicking. Laughton's performance almost wanted me to become a lawyer of some sort.
But Dietrich show the command of what true acting is reminding all audiences how wool over the eyes is really done. Did I also mention you can chalk up another point for Wilder?
