Review of Witness (1985) by Grant T — 21 Apr 2013
Harrison Ford's performance in this amazing romantic thriller film was excellent. It's not easy for me to review such a film because of its somehow dark tones. "Witness" is one of my favourite movies, and I thought that it was deserving of the Oscar for Best Picture that year.
Peter Weir has also directed another one of my favourite movies, "The Truman Show," which was also an excellent film. The performances in this film were what made the film great. I loved it overall.
The writing was outstanding, and it's amazing how these kinds of stories can become great films. This is a very enjoyable film. I'd recommend it easily.
