Review of Witness (1985) by Andy S — 15 Sep 2018
Already impressed by the musical composer, Michael Jarre. The cast line up is great too. It's a breath of fresh air to see how curious and how interested the boy is about everything. Just sucks that he had to witness something like he did. I called it from the moment I saw him, I knew Danny Glover's character was a cop.
It's no surprise how corrupt and sneaky these cops are. I like the direction this movie went into. You get to see in a bit of detail how the amish live and you get to see how a non-amish can learn to adapt and learn their ways. Pretty amazing to see the process of how a building gets made.
I never thought I would ever see death by corn. This was a good movie with some great character development and story line with a setting that hasn't been used before. The soundtrack was beautiful.
