Fantasitcally written, but still rather sedate and is probably not the cinematic masterpiece many take it to be. The charisma of Richard E. Grant drags you through it though, and it features some of the most eminently quotable lines of the past century.
"My head feels like a pig shat in it!" and "We demand the finest wines known to humanity!" are personal favourites.
