Review of Withnail & I (1987) by Alan B — 27 Nov 2012
This movie still does it for me - even 25 years on. It has one of the best scripts with some of the most quotable lines ever written. I would give it a 10 out of 10 were it not for the stupid 'randy bull' scene. I think that Bruce Robinson was under some pressure from the studio to get some slapstick in there hence the movies only un-funny scene.
