Review of With Honors (1994) by Sora Z — 25 Dec 2010
A slice of life comedy-drama which showcased Brendan Fraser's versatility in drama. It's a film that is life-affirming. Simon Wilder (Joe Poesci) teaches a young Harvard student, Monty Kessler, about things that are supposed to be important in life. Simon Wilder made Monty change his perspective about life.
Just recently watched this and I loved it! I love everyone from the cast. Joe Poesci was a very funny bum. His character as the witty Harvard bum is unforgettable. Patrick Dempsey, Moira Kelly, Josh Hamilton, and Brendan Fraser team-up looked good together on-screen. Their easy camaraderie, and even Josh Hamilton's argumentativeness, looked really cute on screen. It was enjoyable and memorable.
