Review of Wit (2001) by Matt A — 21 Jun 2007
Without question one of the most moving, touching films I've ever seen. Emma Thompson is beyond spectacular in her performance as a highly-respected literature professor dying of cancer. Adapted from the stage play, W;t, this screenplay interweaves between real life, fantasy, and to-the-camera monologues.
I can only imagine how trying and difficult this was to film and act, but this is one of the few times in my life where I can say I felt as though my life had been changed by a film.
