Wasn't what I expected. In some ways I think it would be more enjoyable as a play than as a movie. And while the movie was indeed quite powerful, quite poignant, I was surprised by how witty Emma Thompson *wasn't*.
Honestly, I thought an episode of Gilmore Girls could probably be wittier. Still, it was moving and enjoyable.
