Review of Wit (2001) by Shelley T — 19 Oct 2007
The only film I have seen where I broke down and weeped at the end. This is Emma Thompson, one of my favorite actors of all time, on her own for most of the film. Really beautiful. Under the radar for some reason, but this is a movie I think everyone should see.
Also includes one of the most beautiful pieces of music I ever heard - Henryk Gorecki's Symphony No. 3. All though, to be honest, I'm not sure if it worked too perfectly in the movie.
