Review of Wishmaster (1997) by Skyler B — 27 Dec 2010
The bad guy is hammy enough that it makes the movie watchable. I love how he says "Make your wishezzzz." But "Buck" Flower, from a few John Carpenter movies, has the best scene in the movie.
Its kind of weird that the Djinn goes around town tricking people into wishing for things, but then gives the main character who gets 3 wishes. I suppose the point is that only she is the one who can unleash the underworld spirits.
I also liked the Candyman's quick cameo, if I had watched this last week, I would've called him "Johnny Valentine.".
