Review of Winter's Bone (2010) by Thesportspin — 16 Jun 2011
Beautiful, an absolutely beautiful movie. It illustrates the care-free nature of childhood and the larger than life problems we adults get into to, all the while giving us a herione that's somewhere in between the two, thrust into a situation that she has no control of.
Jennifer Lawrence gives an Oscar worthy performance as Ree, and Debra Granik directs it perfectly.
