Review of Winter's Bone (2010) by Aaron R — 26 Nov 2012
This is an interesting look into the lives of meth cooking low life's and the circle of silence that surrounds it. I found it slow moving at times but found myself hanging on until the Jennifer Lawrence character found her father.
This is grim look at that life style and the affects on the family / kids. It is certainly worth watching due to the strong performance by Lawrence in the strong girl who's willing to put her life on the line for her mother & siblings.
The end is certainly a surprise, or the manner in which it ended.
