It's obvious why Jennifer Lawrence was cast in the Hunger Games after watching Winters Bone. Girl can act. Not just a pretty face as she proves time and time again. This movie doesn't feature much in the way of story, and so it's greatly character driven.
J-Laws performance was as always the tits, walking hand in hand with her hotness (I'm talking First Class, and Hunger Games hotness. She's actually pretty average in comparison to those roles in Winters Bone).
