Review of Winter's Bone (2010) by Sarah B — 29 May 2013
Winter's Bone captures a derided community of the Mid West and presents the residents with both stark rawness and courtesy. Lawrence, Dickey and Hawkes deliver consistent compelling performances throughout.
It is one of those films you are not allowed to enjoy but you feel deeply attached to none the less.
