This movie was my first real introduction to Zooey Deschanel - thank goodness I saw it. She completely dominates the cast of this movie with a maturity uncommon in young actresses. The inclusion of Will Ferrel as Corbit is an unexpected highlight.
His completely off-centred humour complements the heavy drama perfectly.
