Review of Winter Kills (1979) by Marilee A — 01 Apr 2011
An offbeat and quirky conspiracy thriller. With some lame attempts at humour throughout it seems to falter, but it betters itself with an intriguing plot of paranoia and conspiracy.
It is fiercely headed by a young Jeff Bridges, as well as a scene stealing John Huston has his father. The movie has tons of shock value assassinations and a twisted plot, but seems disconnected at times.
This movie was shelved and killed because it was based on the JFK assassination. It is a decent watch, but not entirely necessary.
