Review of Winnie the Pooh (2011) by Brandon B — 02 Sep 2011
This movie was fantastic...I mean, out of all the Disney movies to come out of the 21st century, this one is the most Disney-esque. Now don't get me wrong, there have been other 21st century Disney that are very good or even decent, but this one, in my opinion, is the best.
It is very nice and extremely heartwarming, and it doesn't try to go for any cheap jokes, lowbrow humor, and didn't try to be all stupidly modernized like so many other movies these days. The jokes are just so Winnie-the_pooh like, and unlike any jokes made in any other TV shows or movies I've ever seen; and they're all just great to hear.
The characters are very nice and the voice acting is spot-on. And the songs are very nice, too, especially the "villain" song int he movie. Truly, Disney has shown, with this movie, that they haven't lost their magic.
