An angel falls in love with a mortal. Just about the most beautiful film ever made, with black and white and color cinematography that is immortal like Michelangelo's Sisteine Chapel is immortal. A movie poem.
On my short list of Personal Favorites Ever. (As a sidenote, the film has a distinctly Mormon view of the Fall of Man, which is kinda cool.).
