Review of Windtalkers (2002) by Alex H — 13 Oct 2009
There are some very nice action sequences, though Nicolas Cage is slightly too much of an invinsible super-hero at times. I'd say that the main problem definitely lies with the script, as th film looks pretty stylish but the characters are pretty one dimensional and everything pans out in a predictable fashion.
I like John Woo for his stylised violence, but the trouble is that with the films that I've seen they don't really have the depth to them that really use it to its full potential. Or something.
