This movie had the chance to be a movie that rivaled some of the greatest war movies all times, but that blew up in a cloud of poorly planned, bad history. The movie was supposed to be about the codetalkers, and yet the movie was about some idiot with an injured ear who acts like a jackass when he's not in battle, and a loony tune when is.
I am a WW2 history buff, and this was just a horrible movie. And what is with them shooting the enemy with an entire clip of ammo? or the grenades having as much explosive force as an artillery shot or cruiser shell?
