Review of Wind River (2017) by Luke K — 01 Sep 2017
This was one of the most poignant movies I've ever seen, containing some content that is very hard to watch, and the camera doesn't shy away from any of it. It is on the order of House of Sand and Fog for how evocative it is, but it is consistently so, throughout most of the movie, with depth of dialog that makes it profoundly impactful and memorable.
It made me cry more than three times, and could have more if I hadn't had to go pee the whole time.
