Review of Wind River (2017) by Alan W — 08 Sep 2017
Every film with Graham Greene is worth watching, and this is no exception. Wind River is not the greatest film made, it is not even particularly innovative. But it is a solid story with some interesting twists and at its core are some real human and societal issues that are as burning as the environment is cold.
The saddest part of the film is that is remains mired in a message that violence is the only way to deal with violence, which though satisfying in the short term is not a satisfying life philosophy.
