This film was god awful. The dialog and character development were awkward and forced. The FBI lady was totally miscast and unbelievable in her role. The violence was pointless and at times borderline ridiculous.
And the overall story, which held the possibility of an insightful look into contemporary native culture, instead only pandered to cheap cliches and stereotypes of both natives and the evil "white man.
" The fact that critics are raving about how great this movie was, is a testament to the continual lowering of Western artistic standards.
