Review of Wind Chill (2007) by Amir S — 06 Dec 2007
The main reason that I watch this movie is Emily Blunt. I really want to see her after her marvelous performance on The Devil Wears Prada. The next reason would be because Wind Chill is a horror movie.
The first half of the movie is kinda promising. The developing relationship between the two characters is kinda interesting to watch. And then they got hit by a car (apparently, a ghost car), passed out for hours and got stranded in the middle of snow drift.
As both of the characters got stranded, the movie itself also got stranded and going nowhere. The slow pace of its story doesn't even make things better. Then the mysterious creatures showing up with a little flash back to the horrifying tragedy back in 1950's.
The guy's did not make it to survive the freezing situation, but suddenly at the edge of the end of the movie, the spirit of the guy comes up and guides the girl to get out of her nightmare. Nothing really scary on this one.
I won't say this bad. Just fair.
