Review of Wind Chill (2007) by David M — 08 May 2012
Ten minutes into the movie, and the only word that can describe Emily Blunt's character is "bitch." She's accompanied by her slighly creepy hopeless-romantic stalker. It wasn't until about 40 minutes into the movie that I could care anything about these two nameless characters.
But I have to give the movie props for one genuine moment where I jumped out of my seat, considering how rarely "scary" movies ellicit that response from me. And I liked how it all played out in the end, more than I thought I would.
Wind Chill sets itself apart from your average horror/ghost story by relying on its characters and their ability to act.
