"Inspired by actual events", Yes there was a Mrs. Winchester, whose husband and child died, and there is a house. A very cool house that is a treat to go and see. That however, is about all that seems to be true in this movie.
Where the acting is fair, Helen of course does a great job, but the rest seemed flat to me. The rest of the move fell flat on it's face. Boring, predictable and lacking of any suspense. This could have a been a REALLY good move, to bad the screen play and direction ran the other way.
