Review of Winchester (2018) by Sterling B — 04 Feb 2018
Saw this movie last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Seems like another miss by the critics to me. Plenty of decent dread/buildup with decent payoff. As always, Helen Mirren gives a great performance and the plot delivers on actual growth in the main character.
While I wouldn't call it Oscar-worthy, it is definitely an enjoyable watch. If you are a fan of haunted house movies or ghost stories, I'd definitely give this one a shot.
