Review of Wimbledon (2004) by April T — 24 Feb 2008
Ugh. No chemistry between the two leads. Paul Bettany looks dejected, downtrodden, hopeless, lost, and miserable most of the movie. You would think he was being tortured instead of playing a sport he loves.
Get over yourself. The best parts were the tennis shots. The CGI was great. I did fall in love with James McAvoy all over again, though, as the obnoxious brother... A completely unmemorable film.
