Review of Wimbledon (2004) by Morgan S — 13 Jul 2009
Paul Bettany plays a likable enough character in this light romantic comedy. There's not much tennis involved considering its about two tennis players at Wimbledon, which is fine by me as I'm not the biggest tennis fan but the usually quite capable supporting cast were a bit wooden I felt.
Unfortunately, what could have been an original film soon falls into very familiar territory and becomes a little too 'Notting Hill' for my taste.
