Review of Willow Creek (2013) by Matt A — 22 Sep 2014

Interesting that this is so critically acclaimed. Its just another found footage horror film. All you need to know is this is Blair Witch with Bigfoot. Nothing more nothing less. The only difference is that the actors can actually act.

The big set piece is a one shot scene in a tent, no cuts, just a long 10 minute scene of loud noises, moans grunts and things hitting the tent... then the ending.. Which if I hadn't of read up on some of the legends behind Bigfoot would make absolutely no sense.

Overrated by the critics. Good but its too much of a slow burner for me. Much like the irksome film that started this genre off in the first place.
