Review of Willow Creek (2013) by Late R — 26 Nov 2017

Slow-burning and taking ample time (perhaps a little too much) to endear the characters to you, 'Willow Creek' doesn't have much that you haven't seen before and with the found-footage gimmick on top of it, it seems like it could be a tiresome cliché of a film.

But with committed performances from the two leads who seem fun and genuine, a fantastic final half an hour where the dread, suspense and tension really sets in, and an interesting little suggestion to top it off right at the end, it is worth the watch.
