Very nicely observed, with lovely fantasy/imagination scenes that surprise and delight. This is a huge difference from your typical lame-ass, unfunny crowd-pleaser or self-indulgent arthouse Taiwanese movie.
Arvin Chen is fast becoming my favourite Taiwanese writer/director.
