Review of Wild Strawberries (2012) by Michael B — 08 Oct 2007
Bitter-sweet rendering of the human condition in the form of an old professor reflecting on a life of selfishness and alientation. Sympathetic without becoming maudlin, and rich with the kind of symbolism for which Bergman was famous.
A slow-developng "think piece," not light entertainment.
