Review of Wild Strawberries (2012) by Maryjo G — 21 Jul 2008
I had trouble thinking of a good way to describe this movie, but someone a few reviews down from me had this to say: At the heart of the movie is the question of how one chooses to live: for oneself in isolation and loneliness, or in a vulnerable state, giving oneself to others even if that means pain and conflict.
And I whole-heartedly agree. At first I thought this movie depressing and found it hard to keep focused, but by the end I thought it was a very elegant movie.
