The movie is a great poetic way to show longing for youth, vanishing, mature age. Reality of an old man is built on memories, but there is nothing wrong about it. I didn't feel any trivial sentimental moments or worn terms.
The climate is so natural, pure, easy, clean. We build our memories every day. And genius Mr. Sjostrom - amazing as a leading actor.
