Review of Wild Bill (2011) by Scott G — 26 Mar 2012
A worthy directing debut from actor Dexter Fletcher, certainly at times homeing in on his time spent with Guy Ritchie but while this is british gangsters roaming in and out, this is a touching story of two brothers(one of which iss getting in with local gangsters whom Bill was asociated) and the return of the father into their lives after his time in jail.
Bill played by Charlie Creed Miles is a flawed and interesting charactor wantying to escape his past, move to Scotland and start fresh, but once in london has to look after the kids that were abandoned, some great drama and comedy coming off here and Miles is a good solid watch, Will poulter whom we saw in Son of Rambow also showing emotion, the younger kid that gets in trouble so great also, the story shows well a man adjusting but having to get back into bad habits.
a film with emotions that stands up well.
