Review of Wild Bill (2011) by Charlotte P — 01 Jun 2013
A film with as much pathos as anything by Ken Loach, some really outstanding performances, and a thoroughly believable story underscored by clever and witty cinematography, with the London Olympics building programme featuring as a faintly disturbing backdrop to a story about how family can mean everything.
Dexter Fletcher's directorial debut has more compassion and flair than a dozen Lock Stocks.
