Review of Wild at Heart (1990) by Guido A — 20 Apr 2008
I liked it. Well this chapter of my Lynch path is something really new about the Lynch experience. Nearly opposite than before where he discovered the "dirt in holy dress" (Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks), In Wild at Heart he tells about the "holy in dirty dress".
A romantic movie, a fable in the 70's far west with symbolic characters and the usual Lynch's visionary breaks. Someone said this is the movie that inspired Tarantino's Pulp Fiction.
