Not a bad film but hasn't aged as well as some of Lynch's other work. It seems a bit over-histrionic compard with Blue Velvet or Lost Highway, but without the surrealistic elements that elevate his best movies.
A bit of a failed attempt at a mainstream movie, perhaps?
