Review of Wild at Heart (1990) by Jingbo W — 28 Jan 2010
Bizarre! Unexplainably bizarre, and untamed that it is. A modern Wizard of the Oz, maybe. Because in both films the yellow brick road ends in happiness. For cinematography, David Lynch's rendition is simply haunting and full of striking imagery.
For example, remember the closeup scene of Dafoe's teeth?
