I must read the book to see if this film is just poor or the book is too. it's a potentially interesting story of venturing out alone and just what do you think about over all those hours? The film did not probe that at all.

I recently met someone doing a solo walking oddessy in NZ and her story was fascinating and she was someone to be admired. The story of a lone female walking the PCT has got to be even more interesting, given the inhospitable nature of much of the country.
