"Wild" is the type of movie that may leave many impatient viewers hating it, and I will admit that it is a very exhausting film. That being said it's very powerful as well. I thought this movie was great! Everything from the acting, the cinematography, to the expert pacing, to the beautiful visuals, etc.

this is a excellent movie. Jean-Marc Vallee really knows how to direct a movie. His camera shots and the way he let's everything sink in is great, and he can really grab you with the emotional core of his films.

Now is this as good as his other film "Dallas Buyers Club"? No. But it's definitely one of those movies you experience instead of just watch. It's a movie that displays how no matter how much life beats the shit out of you, everyone has the power to get back up, as well as a powerful character study on self discovery.
