Cancer movies ALWAYS get to me and this one had great performances by Dern and Reese. That being said, I had a problem with the fact that the movie gave almost every male encounter she had a rapey vibe.
I did realize that's always a possibility and a woman is always susceptible to that kind of danger, but the fact of the matter is that most of the people she encountered helped her. Overall entertaining but not at all inspiring and too by-the-numbers for my taste.
