Review of Wild (2014) by Joe P — 22 Jan 2015
Cheryl Strayed takes on a 1,100 mile hike on the PCT against all odds to prove that she can do it and push past the failures of her life and death of her mother. Although I did enjoy the subject matter of this movie, the director might have thought that someone hiking through the desert does not even have a hint of a sunburn, or have skin that is less than pale.
It was a nice touch to see her push ahead through the story alone with the inside thoughts of a troubled life. Overall, a good movie.
