10/14/17 From the very first scene, I pretty much hated this movie. James Franco's character is just too over the top. BUT, then I let myself forget about how ridiculous he was, and I really started to enjoy it.
There are actually a good number of funny parts. Brian Cranston should probably just avoid comedies, but he fit the part well. I always appreciate a comedy that takes a little different angle as this one does, so I think it is a worthy watch.
