Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Jerome S — 23 Feb 2008
Wow. One of the most intense movies ever made, this movie features some of the finest acting, writing, and directing to date. This movie is truly one of the finest ever made. I got completely swept up by the film. I imagine it's also good on stage, but this film captures the stage's intensity and intimacy as well as any film could.
Can't say it's among my favorites, though, because it truthfully gave me a headache due to all of the intensity. It will be a long time before I can see it again!
