Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Arin D — 05 Apr 2008
Richard Burton has done a few of these movies where one terrible, revelatory night is the context to the events (see "Night of the Iguana").. This one is tortuous in its examination of marriage, but worth it if you can stick with the characters to the end.
Definitely a different experience than seeing this on stage.
