Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Fredrik C — 12 Apr 2008
Holly crap, this is an incredible movie. In all honesty this film doesn't have much of a conventional plot, but you can't help but look at how George and Martha tear each other apart with their "fun and games".
If you've ever been drunk you will totally relate, the cinematorgaphy is excellent in conveying this feeling. The dynamic of the younger couple vs. the older couple is classic Albee and makes for a weird but entertaining evening.
Masterful.
