Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Minna S — 17 Jan 2010
Good Lord! What a movie! The characters are fascinating, the dialogue sharp, the direction tight, and the acting unmatchable. At a little over two hours, the film is never boring and for a stage adaptation, that's really saying something.
There's also many interesting moments left open for individual interpretation. I'm sure the film will grow richer with subsequent viewings. I'd hate to give anything away. Go see it for yourself! A masterpiece.
